Abstract
The paper offers an analysis of the results of the European elections with particular attention to the results of the green parties. It shows that the European elections were the opportunity for an environmentalist push, but that this was significant only in a limited number of countries. An observation of youth movements shows in the same way that the countries where young people have been most mobilized are those where ecologists have scored the highest.
