Latest scientific evidences on Climate Change

The conference on The Latest Scientific Evidences on Climate Change: risks, mitigation and adaptation policies in Italy was organised on April 15 at the Chamber of Deputies by the Institute of European Democrats in collaboration with the Center for a Sustainable Future.
The event was held on the aftermath of the publication of the contributions released by the Working Group II (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability) and the Working Group III (Mitigation of Climate Change) of the of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5), at the centre of the international debate on climate change.
If international negotiations are carried on among difficulties, to define a binding agreement at the global level by 2015, the scientific community is reflecting on the tools and policies available to governments to encourage actions to reduce emissions and manage the impacts of changes the different areas.
