On the anniversary of the signature of the Treaties of Rome, 25 March 1957, and 2 moths away from the European vote, the Sabino Arana Foundation and the Institute of European Democrats organised a roundtable event on the European elections and citizenship. The participants exchanged their views on three main themes: the democratic legitimacy of the Union and the reasons for citizens’ disaffection to the European political project; the key issues on the European agenda; and the future of Europe.
