European Governance for a New Prosperity

The Institute of European Democrats, in cooperation with LibNet and the Italian Council of the European Movement (CIME), organized a roundtable on the theme of the European governance and prosperity. The roundtable was held on the 29th November in Rome, at the premises of the European Parliament Information Office in Italy.

The roundtable discussion, led by the Italian correspondent for the French newspaper Libération, Eric Jozsef, and with the participation of high-level speakers, such as Giuliano Amato, Emma Bonino and Pier Virgilio Dastoli, among others, developed around the concept of European "prosperity", as an alternative to the overused "growth".
