A Conference on "Italy's participation to Civilian ESDP (European Security and Defence Policy) Missions" and their "Critical Aspects and Perspectives" has been organized on the 4th and 5th of November 2009 focusing on the Peacekeeping Missions, dedicated to the promotion of peace and development in several crucial regions.

The Conference has been hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome with the participation of the Institute of Foreign Affairs.
