Transatlantic Relations
The Institute of European Democrats - IED will focus and study the trends of Transatlantic relations during next months. In particular, the US Presidential elections could represent a key moment to relaunch this important link and to renew the cooperation between Europe and United States on the main issues of the global agenda.
The Institute of European Democrats presents a first paper on the eve of the US Presidential challenge: "Europe's great opportunity" by Alberto Biginelli. This paper considers the imminent US elections as an opportunity for new momentum in Transatlantic relations. Europe must, however, prove to be capable of shouldering the responsabilities a global player has to bear.
